Biennial
Birmingham University

You are invited to an Autumn conference where the latest information on both heavy and light chain analysis for applications in monoclonal gammopathies and renal disease will be discussed. Ground breaking data will be presented on a new assay for heavy chain measurement and the value of the heavy chain ratio explained. Additionally data from the Multi-centre, Phase III, Randomised control trial on extended haemodialysis with the Gambro protein-leaking HCO 1100 dialyser will be highlighted.

The programme will focus on results from a number of recent clinical trials and, as you will see, Robert Kyle, Brian Durie, Jerry Katzmann, Angela Dispenzieri, Paul Sanders and Giampaolo Merlini will be among the speakers.

Traditionally this meeting has been held in Warwick but this year’s meeting, hosted by Binding Site, the key sponsors, will be held at the Assembly Rooms, Bath, UK. At the close of the conference a drinks reception will be held at the Roman Baths followed by a Gala Dinner at the Assembly Rooms that will make for a rather special evening.

We have hotel rooms on hold for both the Thursday and Friday nights which are greatly subsidised by the sponsors. As places are limited and available on a ‘first come first served’ basis I should be grateful if you would register online as soon as possible to ensure your place. You will find all the details you need on this website and please note there are also 10 CPD points available from the Royal College of Pathologists.

I very much look forward to seeing you in Bath.

Yours sincerely
Jo Bradwell
